Our Story – Local Roofer Edinburg, TX – Texas Prime Homes
Sometimes you don’t get it right the first time.
Figuring out what to do when you grow up isn’t as easy as it looks. I knew I wanted to work with my hands, but I didn’t know the rest of it. When an opportunity to become a welder and travel the country came up, I jumped at the chance.
The money was great, but the time away from family wasn’t. After a year or so, I got into the roofing business so I could stay close to home, and I’ve never regretted that decision for a single second.
I spent the next 20 years like most folks do. Hard work, long hours, and plenty of tough lessons. My dream had always been to own my own business, so when my piggy bank was ready, so was I.
It took a long time, but 10 years ago I finally had enough to get started. I had a garage full of tools, a beat-up truck, and a crew that’s still with me today.
Not much has changed.
We still work hard, stay until the job is done, and treat customers like family. Over the years, the trucks got nicer, the tools got fancier, and our crew got bigge,r but the reason we show up every day hasn’t changed one bit.
We love helping people.
Along the way, I figured out I was good at something else besides roofing. Turns out I had a real knack for working with insurance companies, and that’s something most people can’t say.
Homeowners are in a real David vs. Goliath situation with these insurance companies. And they know it, and they don’t like it one bit.
I’ll never get tired of that look or that long, long pause on the phone when I say ‘don’t worry, we’ll take care of everything.’ From getting the approvals to the mountain of paperwork, we handle it all.
